 Hello 2023! 

We started performing again last weekend! Bill Pekar and myself played at the wonderful Whistling Duck Vineyard and Winery near Weimer TX last Saturday afternoon (Jan. 21st). It's been a month or so since I have played due to the holidays and we just wanted some time to chill with family, friends and loved ones.

I had been rehearsing a bit while on our time off but felt a little rusty on our first few songs. After a wine slushy and a few tunes we felt okay. Nice crowd for an afternoon show! 

We met some great folks. A gentleman and his wife showed up in their RV and turns out they travel all over the states and he's an author, blogger, podcaster and just good folks. So great to meet Dan Clouser and his wife Sandy. Thanks so much Dan for the books and we plan to set up an interview with Bill soon with Dan for his podcast.

That's part of my unwritten job duties in the band. I take care of things and try to make podcasts and mic tests happen. ha ha

This weekend playing a cool gig with all our rowdy friends at the Shiner KC Hall for a private event. So looking forward to performing again with Bobby Kallus, Howard Gloor, Marty Shimek, Clinto Robinson and of course Bill Pekar.
